Early bird gets to decorate.

Got going this morning after yesterday's roller coaster of "discussions" of cake prices, and decided that today I shall take on the creative task of this blog. Two girls, one twin referred to as Michelle Ho and I, the other twin Christina Ho, along with our handy dandy artisan KitchenAid mixer take on the cake world as Ho Lotta Cakes. Here you'll find recipes, photos, and the daily back and forth of two sisters learning to get along in this cake eat cake world. Hope you enjoy!

To start off this inaugural blog is this small, last minute, anniversary white cake filled with vanilla buttercream, which I just finished earlier this morning.

My piping technique has slowly gotten better (wouldn't have dared to try those drop strings months ago!) and I am really quite pleased with the overall look of this cake. Not bad for someone who can't function without 8 hours of sleep!
